We’re in need of a new television, our current one is nearly ten years old and our toddler has just damaged the screen (we were thinking about upgrading anyway as it’s only a 31 inch which we bought for our first tiny one bedroom house). Neither of us are clued up on the latest technology or terminology.

Our budget is only £400 – £600, and the TV will need to fit in an alcove just over 40 inches in width, so we’re probably looking at no more than a 50 inch screen.

Now we’re a family of three, we use the TV a lot more than we used to. It’s on a lot for CBeebies as well as various streaming services and YouTube, although I think we access most of these features through Sky.

I’ve had a brief look online but it’s all a bit overwhelming. If anyone has any advice on the best/most reliable stores, brands, and must-have features, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
