i know based on the title everyone is going to advocate for communication, so i want to say first and foremost that we have talked about this together a lot!!
my (f19) bf (f19) always suggests that we mix things up in the bedroom but when i ask him what he has in mind he rarely has specific ideas. we’ve tried a bunch of different positions (basically everything we’re physically capable of lol), i’ve asked him to be rougher with me and he has, and we give each other head frequently. he still seems to want to make things more interesting though.
anything anal/with another person is out of the question for me. i’m a switch but he doesn’t seem super interested in mixing up the power dynamics (though he has mentioned he likes me initiating). i would be down to do more bdsm type things but he has mentioned being worried about hurting me in the past so i don’t want to push that.
it’s getting a little frustrating for me because i’m not sure what variety he’s looking for and he doesn’t seem to be sure either. does anyone have any suggestions for what we could try or how to get him to express things more clearly to me? neither of us are insanely experienced so i don’t want to suggest anything that might be too ambitious. i do think mixing things up would be fun though… any suggestions welcome!
