I grew up in England and spent the first 20 years of my life here without one single mosquito bite. Me and my friends have been getting absolutely demolished in the last few days though. I know the warm weather has just started so they’re just waking up, but it’s not on : ( I was always scurred that global warming would mean England gets mosquitoes. How can we stop this? Evict them back to whence they came? Growing up not having to worry about leaving my windows open, using insect repellent or walking wherever was lovely and not something I got to do abroad, sad that I’m losing it here. Boo.
