My girlfriend and I spent a great weekend together in an Airbnb, cooking, sex all the works etc.
On Sunday night, I said she could stay at my house and we would watch a movie that we hadn’t finished and I’d drop her off in the morning.
We were relaxing on my bed watching the film and her phone notifications start bleeping so she spends the next while on her phone. I pay no attention to it as i assume it is one of her friends.
Then one of my friends messages and me and I start to check my phone, it was an Instagram reel. She makes a remark: ‘oh are you messaging another lover?’
I got annoyed by this as I was not interested in who she was texting. So I ask her the same question and she says she is messaging a friend who is looking for accommadation.
Since we are both not interested in watching the film anymore, we decide to go to bed. She notices I am a bit annoyed and decides to spill the beans. Apparently he’s a guy she went on one date but he ghosted her after the date but is now interested in meeting up with her.
She says she want to play a game with him and find out what he is doing. She refers to guys like him as fancy guys who are making good money and from good background.
I don’t know why she would rather be invested in finding out what he is up to, especially as we both had a good weekend together.
We have good communication on these things but it seems she is not bothered by how I feel this and it’s my fault for being jealous.
