Recently, I made a couple of new friends and its making me aware of something I do when socializing. When talking with others, people will mention movies, books, etc., and I have this habit of googling what theyre talking about. I do it because I want to know more about their interests and to get a better idea of what theyre talking to me about, and so I search them up while they tell me about it. Im in my 30s and have had the same friend group for over 10 years and I think my older friends are used to me doing that. Is it rude to do that? How would others perceive that?
