I am not sure if this is even the proper plave to post it but here I go. I just got rejected because I own a house on my own.
We matched on a dating app this afternoon and she actually sent the first message, I was rather exited because that doesnt happen often, if at all. We had an amazing conversation untill we hit the topic of housing, she lives on her own in a rental building and I own a house, about 40km apart.
Then she sent me the message that just crushed my hopes and dreams, not just woth her but basically at all. She told me she doesn’t want to date someone with his own house because what if they break up, then she has nothing (parents and other familie of her are no-contact).
I just feel defeated, just when I thought I had my life in order, stable income, own house emand car etc. Life strikes you down again.
Is there even a step forward at this point, how do I deal with this and feel free to share similar experiences please?
