I am in a relationship which has lasted over a decade. We had our ups and downs, and few (very rare) serious fights. Undeniably, we loved each other, so we always found a way to get back, mend the relationship and continue. If you asked me half an year ago, I’d enthusiastically say we had the perfect relationship and I was deeply in love. I believe the same applies to my partner, who helped me when I was low and did numerous things to show that they appreciates me and our relationship.

But, few days ago we had a huge fight. And this time, I kind of lack the desire to get the first step to get back.

Problem is, I am stuck in emotions and can’t think it objectively. Plus, I am double-thinking that what I am experiencing is still unresolved anger and not a problem with the relationship per se (or my partner). That’s why I am asking for your help.

For people in similar position, what questions did you ask yourself to decide if your relationship is worth keeping? And what was you ultimate decision?
