I was watching Google IO and saw this use case where you will be able to ask google photos for your license plate number in case you forgot it, then watched the Waveform podcast talking about it and Marques said he once had a situation where he couldn’t recall the number and had to check it in a photo.
I’m an Argentinean, learnt it (not that I had to try or anything) the very same day I got my car. I also intuitively know most of my friends’ plates or at least 5 out of their 7 digits/letters.
