What is the coolest stat/fact about your favorite sports team?

  1. The Legio Astorum’s forge world of Lucius encircles a hollow sun they use an a neigh infinit power source. But that isn’t the interesting part, the interesting part is the Imperator Titan that stands guard over the maintenance tunnel that lead to the hollow sun.

  2. My Anaheim Ducks are the seventh team in NHL history to win five consecutive division titles. Impressive since they became a franchise in 1993 and the NHL has been around since 1917.

  3. The Oakland A’s have the longest-active streak of avoiding no-hitters (i.e. getting at least one base-hit per game), dating back to 7/13/91 vs Baltimore.

  4. I don’t know if it’s the coolest, but the Denver Broncos have played in 8 Super Bowls and have played different teams in each of them. No repeats. There are 16 different teams in the opposing conference that would be possible teams they could play and they’ve played half of them. This also makes them the team who has played against the most teams in Super Bowls tied with the Patriots who have been to 11 of them.

  5. I’m a fan of the the Tom Landry Cowboys. Clint Murchison was the original owner of the team and wanted to form a NFL team in Dallas. The owner of the Redskins was blocking this because he liked the idea that his team was the only team south of the Mason-Dixon line. Murchison found out that the rights to the fight song favored by the Redskins was was up for sale and he bought it. Unless the Redskins owner caved and allowed an expansion team, they would no longer be allowed to use the fight song. He caved. That’s the true origins of the Cowboys/Redskins rivalry.

  6. My team has never been to the Super Bowl. The last playoff game we won was 32 years ago. It’s also the only playoff game we’ve won in 65 years.

  7. The White Sox were the first team in baseball to have names on the back of their jerseys. Also it was a member of the White Sox who introduced a batting glove. It was actually a golf glove he wore because of a blister. He hit a home run that day. The next day the opposing team all came with gloves on

  8. AFL. 1970s. The North Melbourne Kangaroos (my team) VS the Hawthorn Hawks. We were absolutely thrashing them in the first 3 quarters. During the time-out, the Hawks coach gave the players one of the greatest speeches in the game’s history. And we still kicked their asses.

I mean, we’re now one of the worst teams in the game, but still.

  9. It ain’t cool, but the cardinals have the longest championship victory drought in the NFL.

They’ve never won a superbowl and before that they hadn’t won the NFL championship since 1947.

Its struggle being a cardinals fan at times. But at least I’ve had like a million years of Larry to keep going.
