I (22M) have been dating this girl (23F) for 5 months. She's very religious. Goes on day-long chairities and is overall very strict when it comes to kindness. Our relationship has been very rocky. We broke up and got together a bunch of times. She said she had a serious relationship before and when it was over, that her heart was broken, that she didn't want to feel the same pain again. After this though, we got together for good and haven't broken up since.
While dating she would make jokes about dating other guys or kissing strangers. I would tell her I didn't like jokes like that, that there's a truth in every joke. She got defensive immedietly. "How can you think I'd do something like that!" she'd shout. She's very religious as I said, goes to church every sunday and we never had sex. So adultery, if it is when you're unmarried, is out of her lifestyle right? But she says that she's weak. We make out and go to second base regularly. I hadn't thought of anything up to this point as I think I'm getting attached to her. But the story begins here:
She says to me of the blue: "I got a story". She was out clubbing one night with her close friend. A colleauge of hers was there and they dance together. Then this friend wants to dance with my girlfriend, intimatelly. She says "I'm seeing someone". I'd like to point out this hurt me (not main deal chillax) because it's been 5 months up to this and I'm just someone she's seeing and not her boyfriend apparently. Anyway moving on, the guy says "Oh I only meant to dance as friends!". They continue to dance as before. A week later this guy asks my girlfriend out to drink at work. She says "I told you I'm seeing someone". Guy says it only as friends. They go out drinking. Guy says he has to go home for something, they go next to the apartment and he invites my girlfriend inside to "meet his dog". She decines and doesn't go, guy says once again "just a friendly invite". She still declines. Afterwards they sit outide for a smoke. It is here the guy tries to get a kiss. My girlfriend says "I told you I'm seeing someone". Guy says sorry. After an hour they leave but then he texts her "Pick him or pick me". I told her how naive I thought she was. That the guy's intention was obvious and that I was dissappointed in her. She started crying and told me she sees the best in people and that she had no idea, that I was rude to her with my reaction.
This is just beyond fucked up to me. No girl in the world, this world where women know men more than men know themselves, ain't no way she is this innocent. Is she lying? Do you think they kissed and she didn't tell me? I'm thinking of breaking up with her. This is outrageous to me. Lay me advice.
