What is your opinion on sending a single mom and her daughter flowers?

Im thinking about ordering a bouquet for a girl I met on a trip. She's a single mom and I wanted to send them so when she gets back home Tuesday they're waiting for her. I thought it would be a nice gesture to send a mini bouquet for her 5 year old daughter that says they're from her mom. That way she doesn't feel left out and they both have nice flowers.
