How good is your speaking/listening ability in your second language?

Especially compared to reading and writing.

I was watching a YouTube video in French with French subtitles, and surprised I understood 90%.

But I’m completely lost without them.

I studied some French at university, and while it’s technically my 3rd or 4th language I’m surprised how bad I am at listening compared to reading.

People who can write in several scripts (as in alphabets: Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, Georgian, Armenian, Arabic and Hebrew being most common in Europe), does your handwriting quality differ? If yes, in which one is it best and what do you think why is that so?
