A former classmate from my university days (about 6 years ago) contacted me recently. It was a very short conversation but he was very direct and asked if he wanted to hang out. Now I have dealt with people who haven't contacted me in a while asking for something, so naturally I'm very skeptical about this reach out. We were never really good friends, we just chilled in university and helped each other out. We don't have similar interests and he asked to hang out 1 on 1. I haven't given him a response just yet but I really don't know how to respond. Can anyone please give advice on this? Thanks!
