My husband 30M and I 29F, no kids, are looking to move to a specific city. I was recently offered a job there, but this all came a lot quicker than we realized. He just started his search, and it’ll likely take multiple months to land something.
How do other married couples deal with possible separation and timing of getting moved to a new place? Ideally we’d move at the same time, not have two rents, and not spend a year apart. Is this something I’m supposed to work with my new employer on? Do most employers not give a fuck about it? What are people’s experiences?
