Me (36F) and my bf (22M) have been in a live in relationship for last 2 years. He is intelligent, handsome, fun, well educated and financially very stable. I have been living independently for the last 15 years and am financially very stable as well. We have great intellectual, spiritual and sexual compatibility. The honeymoon phase has been over by more than a year now but our sex and spiritual growth doesn’t seem to slow down. He is everything I ever dreamt of, and he says the same about me.
Everything seems perfect and he wants to marry me. We both are in the US rn but our families are in India and we plan to move back to India in coming years.
Despite the seemingly perfect chemistry we have, I am not sure how to approach my family about this due to our age gap. Though we never feel the age gap when together but at times, in social circles (especially Indian), I feel awkward. I am closer to his mom’s age than him.
I am sure that I can spend my life with him, but not sure if marriage is the right thing to do. Pls lmk what you guys think!
