I have a lot of insecurities especially when it comes to our relationship because the relationship of us talking was rough. Either way a few months later we became official and he said he never felt this way before & said I love you. Before all of this maybe 4 months before coming official ( we were talking) I saw a text pop up that said “My love/mi amor” with a green heart. I told him who was that and he told me that was his ex. For reference his ex and him for what he told me, we’re on and off for 9 months. ( he an avoidant) I told him who wrote that since he isn’t Hispanic and he said it was her because she didn’t like her contact name to be just her name. I don’t know if I’m overthinking but why would she put my love if apparently he said it wasn’t a serious relationship and saw her as dating her because he was bored and always available.
Do you think he was lying to me I was his first love ? Am I a rebound? Or am I overthinking btw we been together for 6 years now.
