How do you feel about ‘fusion’ cuisine?
I just saw a recipe that seems so bizarre that I have to try it…’Sichuan lasagna ‘
It’s like a hybrid dish… lasagne but with a Chinese style bechamel and ragù.
I had a ‘Brazilian lasagna’ before, which is with chicken in cream instead of ragù, and that was interesting (though not as good as a proper lasagna).
I somehow got a dark age while in the information era playing Korea. I don’t know why it happened, and it made holding conquered cities pretty hard, but I did get to pick up the dark age policy rogue state and get some rather cheap nukes when I stacked it with other city project modifiers. Too bad it got expensive rather quick…
Someone from The Netherlands posted a Teletex screenshot to r/eurovision today, and while the content of the news was interesting, the fact that people still use Teletex seems to be more fascinating to people (including me). I had no idea it still exists. Also, my husband told me a few days ago that ICQ has been recently discontinued. Again, no idea that it was still a thing.
Is there a piece of old technology that you still use daily?
Speaking about food..I had a little time this afternoon,so I decided to try and make a Filipino ‘adobo’.
I think I have overdone the vinegar a bit! Its burning through the air.But it tastes pretty good..we’ll see what its like in a few hours.
