I hope to understand. Because apparently Americans take that as us calling them racist.
While I thought this was referring to the weird way everyone has to be "something-American" there, or normal stuff is categorised by race like "asian people clothes" or "white people music" or "black people comedy" etc. Or how places like school or a job application ask for your race for no good reason. Have I understood wrong?
