So I'm not sure how to feel about this interaction so I want ur opinions.
My friend who I mostly always ask about, talks and talks and sometimes I'm busy but I keep talking cause I can't cut her off when she is ranting or talking about something important to her. But as soon as she finishes her points she's like (gotta go, need some sleep) or (I'm busy, talk to u later okay) I was fine with it cause I understand but I obviously don't do it to her as its rude, (if I'm so busy I just leave insta and reply when I can) I wait for her to finish all she has to say but as I'm still typing whatever she's like gotta go. Okay no problem. Feels a bit awful sometimes as it looks like I'm begging her to talk to me when I'm literally the one pushing myself. Today was the one that I felt like it is actually rude, we were talking (I wasn't in the mood but she was online and if I left mid convo it's not nice) , and I'm giving her some recipe she asks for and then later after she finished he own points about the topic, and I'm writing my thoughts, she's like (go get some rest okay) which obviously means she wants to end convo… It was literally 10 in the morning and we just woke up. So the excuse was awful, I mean just log off? Why excuse urself as I'm writing, looks like I'm being told to shut up or something. Not sure how to explain it.
Maybe I'm overthinking but it felt rude a few times specifically when u can literally just go out of ur insta and answer later. I feel like it gets to look like I'm talking too much while most convo was her stating her opinion or ranting and I'm being annoying or something when I say something? Hope I explained the situation well and can get some insight.
Basically it's like this.
Her: blah blah
Me:blah blah
Her:blah blah
Me: asks a literal question about same topic and wait for reply
Her: Gtg, long day and gonna sleep early.
