How to keep a cov going ?

I started talking to this guy (i dont like him ) but he seems kool so i wanted to be friends . I first initiated the conv ( i asked him to sell this drug fr me bcz i needed money ) we talked for a week and then like he became dry , mostly responds when he sees my story . I asked him what kind of music he s into he was like everything . I want to keep the conv but dont know what to say .
