Sorry for the rant but here goes:

28 male here. I have recently found out that I have had social anxiety and I am currently doing CBT treatment. However, I think that is also why I have never had a girlfriend or had any relationship experience before.

I have been on Hinge for about 5 months and have gone on around 20 first dates with girls. I would say that I am a pretty decent looking guy as matching and securing dates doesnt seem to be an issue for me on the apps.

However only 3 out of the 20 girls agreed to go on a second date but I was not interested in them. I recently went out with 5 girls this past month who I was very interested in but none of them agreed to continue things further. The two common responses I would get after the first date is either getting ghosted or the girl replying that she "doesnt feel the strong connection". All my first dates have lasted on average 2 to 3 hours. I would compliment/touch the girl in an effort to flirt and it seems during the date both of us were having a good time.

Am I being way too friendly and not flirty enough or is there a redflag that I am giving off on the first date? I am genuinely confused and any advice from experienced daters would be appreciated on how to secure more dates after the first one.
