I met this guy on tinder and went out with him. We talked for awhile before agreeing to meet up. He’s nice and cute, no bad vibes at all, we even went to high school together but I was a freshman and he was a senior so we never knew each other. We clicked pretty easily but my friends are telling me to stop seeing him because of the age gap. I told them that it shouldn’t matter because A) I’m 18 and B) He hasn’t put out any red flags to be worried

Do you, honestly a 4 year difference is not that big, but it could affect where you are in life as far as things like college and jobs at your age.
just be a little extra cautious – and take it slow. not a huge gap.
Your friends are right. The red flag is that he apparently can’t find a woman his own age who wants to date him so he’s going for a teenager instead.
That’s really not that big of an age gap
