My god guys lol I am a 25F. Have never really struggled with dating/relationships.. just got out of a relatively long one back in the end of 2023. I know the answer here truly is to just ask this man.. but circumstantially I can’t do that at the moment. Dating seems so superficial and shallow these days, it’s impossible to tell if someone is serious or just bored.
I truly just need to vent it out about 29M. The passing touches, sidelong looks, meme sharing (relationship-centric), knowing small details about me, buying me specific snacks that I may of eaten once or twice 6+ months ago, asking about my family, dog, future plans, etc. But no attempt at a move?? No ask of a date? Am i reading too much into it? I am usually very competent with flirting/dating/ social cues so this is confusing and out of the norm to me. What could this mans goal be? I can feel a tension and unsaid things between us, but I have always remained open and willing to receive any kind of advance… so I don’t know what this hesitation could be. I don’t want anything forced, but my god I can only be patient for sooooo long.
