i’ve been in the army for just under a year and i’ve had a difficult time making friends. i’m a lot younger than a lot of people i work with and everyone who is my age is either an idiot or they’re into drinking and partying which im not into at all.
i also don’t have a car because im going overseas soon and it would make more sense to just wait but that makes it difficult for me to get around. not to mention i am not great at starting conversations. usually the conversation will fizzle out pretty quick if the other person isn’t asking questions.
any suggestions?
