Be careful fellas

Met a girl one month ago, she was all over me. Kissing and talking about a relationship, even taking pics of me as her “new boyfriend”. Got distant literally a week later and is now posting about her new relationship with a guy she was talking to the whole time. He’s part of her friend group. Even if she chose me over him, he would’ve lingered the whole time creating a situation of perpetual competition. Her friends would not help at all. I would’ve never had the peace that a healthy relationship should provide. Moral of the story: everything that glitters is not gold. Beware kings, it’s a cold world out here. Know your worth and do not ignore your gut.
