I was in a discord call with 2 people, and they were doing stuff I wasn’t interested in so I was muted. Then it got quiet, and one of them said hey check dms and a few min later they left at the same time. I think they left for a private call. i think i made them uncomfortable

Anyone know how I can get better at this? i wanted to hang out with people but they were doing other stuff, but i still enjoyed just being there, sort of in the company of other people

i dont think you made them uncomfortable. i think they just thought you weren’t interested. maybe just let them know like u werent very interested in the topic at the time but still enjoyed the company !
I’m my experience groups of 3 is… less ideal. It feels like a competition, maybe a larger group? I know in larger group chats not everyone participates at the same time so it’s normal
