My bf has a public account on Instagram, and he posts reels pretty frequently.
I on the other hand do not post at all, however it’s a personal choice and idc about that.
The main issue is however he likes posting shirtless pictures of himself which idk how to feel about. However today, he made a reel of himself, flexing his muscles and shirtless and everything. With a sex oriented song in the background.
He asked for my opinion and I said it looks like a thirst trap, but it’s a nice video (it truly is)
He then proceeded to ask if he should post it on his account, to which I said it’s YOUR account and I’m not your mom to tell what to do and what not to do. I don’t want to control his account.
Within an hour he posted that as a reel, later took it down and posted it as a story. He said he didn’t want it as a reel but a story is only up there for a few hours, and he justified it by saying that it’s only his gym content.
I feel really weird about this and almost like he wants and likes the particular sort of attention that this video would gather.
Am I over reacting and is this completely normal?
Tl/dr- bf is posting his thirst traps and claims how it’s normal.
