Most of my colleagues are older white men (40+), while I'm a 30-year-old immigrant woman in North America. I find it challenging to engage in non-work-related conversations with them, whether it’s about movies, music, sports, or life in general. I feel this gap might be affecting my ability to build meaningful connections at work and possibly hindering my career growth.

I'm looking for advice on bridging this gap. What topics should I explore or learn about to spark engaging discussions and connect better with my colleagues?

Help, please?
