Me (22f) and this guy (23m) met through some mutual friends. He’s the shy type so he hasn’t asked me out yet but I can tell he’s interested in me (talks to me pretty regularly without having a reason to do so on socials, my friend caught him staring at me at a party for an extended period of time, etc).
We were just getting to know other during a hangout at our friends place and were talking about our past relationships. He told me he broke it off w his ex of 3 yrs cuz of long distance and trust issues, went no contact for a year before reconnecting w her. She also has a bf now. But during one of our conversations her profile popped up on his tiktok cuz he just synced his contacts, and he looks at his phone and goes “my ex just popped up, you kinda look like her!” and showed me her profile pic. I didn’t know how to react and he said “I mean in a good way! Not in a bad way” lmao. I feel like this is a red flag but i’m not sure. How are you even supposed to react to a comment like that?
