Hello. I enjoy watching this YouTuber named Shiey, who does urbexing (urban exploring) and travel videos in Europe (particularly southern/SE Europe) and in his videos, he often is walking around and just stumbles along abandoned buildings and other abandoned facilities, some very large. It’s pointed out pretty often is some of his travel videos, and I was just curious if this is somewhat accurate or if it’s a loud minority situation. Obviously we have abandoned buildings here in the US but it just seems like there are so many through his videos.
Or, to not generalize an entire diverse continent, are there some places worse than others?
