Any advice to an oblivious/clueless 28 year old male that’s never dated?

People are surprised about my situation when they learn about it. But yeah I'm very clueless about things socially like sarcasm and/or flirting, maybe it'll click in like 5 hours later and is obviously too late at that point. I can talk to people, including women, just fine about life and whatever. But can just never truly know what they're thinking, because humans in America aren't exactly the honest creatures in existence. Even when people try to explain to me about subtlety or "reading the air", it just never clicks for me. Never touched a woman beyond a simple handshake, nor have I ever gotten success to getting a date. Any advice, or am I basically just doomed as a loneliness oblivious guy?
