My ex wanted to get me pregnant to stop his cheating

I recently found out my now ex-boyfriend was cheating on me for the entirety of our relationship up until today. He became extremely suggestive and adamant to start trying for a baby after telling me we had to wait. Which of course raised concern for the sudden want to have children. I confronted about cheating because I had seen the profound proof in his phone and he lied to my face after giving him the option to tell me the truth right out the gate. My main thing is is I don't know if it would be considered cheating. Is it? To be talking to girls telling tons of them they're beautiful but only on half naked posts, following only half naked girls on all social media, downloading and being active on dating apps while with me, and having tons of other girls nudes saved on his phone? He told me the reason he suddenly wanted for me to become pregnant was because he thought it would make him want to stop cheating, was that right of him? His other excuse was that cheating was an addiction to him and he couldn't stop. And his continued attempts to tell me he loved me after I told him he couldn't possibly with how long he knew he was hurting me. Was this considered cheating and did I over react?
