I'm a little bit of a fearful person, so I tend to take as much precautions as I possibly can before doing something new, and sex is something that I haven't done yet.
I'm a straight guy, and sex scares me for many reasons, but the main one is the possibility of STDs, which I've heard can be almost completely avoided with a condom and with something called "prep" which from what I understand is protection for HIV. The problem is that they say that a condom is 99% safe, which makes me scared of the possibility of getting an STD, even if it's 1%, it's enough for me to avoid sex as much as I can. It's not like I have a lot of opportunities to have it, but I'm scared of even kissing a girl for the fear of getting an infection or something. I understand that there's risks to everything, but I'd like to diminish the risks as much as possible, so I wanted to ask:
Is 100% safe sex possible?
