PLEASE NOTE! I am not seeking medical advice. I am already going to consult with a doctor… I am simply looking to see if anyone else has experience with this as google is not being helpful.

So I changed birth controls at the start of the year because my doctor was worried with some medical conditions that I would possibly stroke out. Since then my periods have changed, my body has changed, etc. I'm already discussing it with my doctor (as I go monthly) but I've noticed some more recent and irritating concerns.

I'm finding that every time I get my period it lasts foreverrrrr. sucks I know, we're waiting to see if things go back to normal soon, if not we're going to come up with another plan. When I have my period, I don't have sex. I don't enjoy it, I'm crabby.

So, once my period is done, I have sex with my boyfriend. and every time without fail, (for the last two cycles) I've gotten yeast infections. While over the counter medication works (like I said, I will be discussing with my doctor in the next appointment). I know that periods and hormones effect the likelihood of a yeast infection, but is it possible my boyfriend isn't cleaning himself well enough? Has anyone else had a boyfriend give them yeast infections?

As it is, I have concerns he isn't showering as often as one should be. I see how dirty his fingers can be and I dont let him go downstairs with them like that lol. I'm just starting to get irritated with it, as it is, he randomly says "you gave me a UTI" when he pisses after sex… you can't transmit UTI's no lol?

anyway, thanks in advanced! and like I said, I will be talking with my doc!
