Does race matter in dating

As the title says, I'm south Asian in the uk and pursued many different races. I tend to persue Caucasian women but often feel like even with chemistry I'm just entertainment for the women since never goes anywhere. I'm quite hesitant to ask them out now days since i usually get brushed off. I seem to get more along the line when I'm persuing Italian, Spanish or other European women, but when it comes to women from England not so much. I'm not against other races but I was wondering if it's the race thing, should I just persue other races?
