We are getting our mobile phones ring. They ring for 5 seconds and then the call is dropped. If I answer the call, there is no one there and the call is dropped. If I call the number back, it's an incorrect number.
The wife has been getting these for years. Now, it seems they have discovered my number.
Both of us are on the Telephone Preference Service.
Is there anything else that can be done?
Frankly, I wish that the airtime supplier checked the number before connecting. They can check if its real easy enough. They even know where the call originates. This is a different number as to where it says it originates. I would very happily sign up for (and pay for!) a service that stops ALL numbers being connected to my phone that are
- From an incorrect number
- Are from number withheld
