What’s a true story of courage and kindness that we should pass along to the next generation?

  1. The story of Malala Yousafzai, who stood up for girls’ education despite the dangers.

  2. Terry Fox and the marathon of hope. He was 18 when he lost a leg to cancer. Despite this, he decided to run across Canada to raise money for cancer research. He dipped his artificial leg in the Atlantic ocean in April 1980 and managed to run 5, 373 km (3,3368 miles) before he was forced to stop. He passed away soon after, but there are still cancer fundraisers done in his name today in Canada.
