I (28M) just had hip surgery 3 weeks ago. My physical therapist gave me the green light to have sex as my body can handle it. Which is very seldom. The act of getting an erection and ejaculating really gets the muscles in my hip sore to the point of me losing my sex drive because the pain I experience isn't worth the pleasure.
I have powered through it a few times because my girlfriend was acting very frisky, but it's getting to the point where she's writing checks that my hip and penis just can't cash right now. I want to make her happy sexually and have used my hands to do so.
I'm just worried how I tell her that sex is physically painful for me right now without sounding like a jerk. I'm also worried about us having sex moving forward since this is my 4th hip surgery and us finding positions that won't hurt me.
