How do you still have believe in love when all you’ve known is pain ?

24m and i sometimes question if putting myself out there is even worth it anymore. The moment i show interest and let my guard down by being vulnerable with them, they ghost/leave/tell me that i'm a great guy but i'm not what she's looking for. I respect their decision but It kinda feels like sticking my hand in the fire, i'll always end up being hurt. How do you guys keep going on dates and still have faith in finding your person?
