I’ve been with the same company for 8years and they’ve all been realitively shite years but I’m always just ate that shit sandwich and took the wins when I could as the works not hard and the hours/pay is ok.
BUT at the minute, I’m about the pull the pin on the job over a trivial £20 because I’ve just had to deal with so much wank and nonsense this past couple of months. I work in the office of a garage and one of the techs came in and asked to make sure it’s noted that he locked up the night before so he gets his £20. I was like what are you on about? And he told me that the techs get £20 for locking up the workshop……I’ve worked there 8 fucking years, I have opened and locked that place up every Saturday and countless weekdays in those 8years and never have I been given any extra for doing it or carrying keys. So now I’m ready to tell them to go fuck, it’s so minor it’s laughable but I hate being disrespected and this is the straw!
