New sex partner & hemorrhoids

I am started talking to someone new and they want to hook up which I'm soo down for butttt I'm feeling so self-conscious about my down there. By that I mean I got hemorrhoids that been with me for a few years now. My ex didn't care about them but I'm scared for this new person to see that!! I know I can go see a doctor but the new person wants to come over this week so I would not be able to be seen my doctor that soon to fix things. Should I tell him before? Do it with the light off? Act like they are not there?? I have stared at them with a mirror and it just doesn't look pretty so l'm scared that will turn him off!! Helpppp
