Been seeing someone now since May. Man I swear we are hitting on all cylinders! Went to a play with her family and they all love me. We laugh and enjoy ourselves and make time to spend with one another.
This morning she calls me and starts crying saying her ConEd bill is in the rears and she’s about have her electricity cut off if she doesn’t come up with $450 immediately. Now I’m not rolling in it but I can put my hands on $500 rather painlessly. I just have that nagging feeling that I’m being played. She hasn’t given me any reason to feel that, it’s just my experience when a woman asks a guy for money for some emergency it’s generally not as serious or just plain non-existent.
Sucks because I really like her. Will change everything if I feel she’s just looking for someone to pay her bills.
