Why does it seem like people are put off by my excitement about my career?

I work in ems and just got my medic license recently. Obviously i am very excited about it and i like sharing my excitement with others, especially my partners. However, it feels like people are put off by my excitement and speak to me as though they are wary of my presence. I feel like it may be because im still relatively new to the agency and can't put as much time into it as they do at this point, but i just dont know if im possibly too excited about my job?
