First off, I am starting to date a lovely young lady from Nigeria so my online dating adventure seems to be working.
That said, I had matched with a woman I actually know for real, we are also friends on facebook. She actually started the conversation, but only to send me a smiley face. I tried to initiate the conversation, and I did actually tell her that I thought she was pretty (literally those words, nothing sexual).
Shortly after, she unmatched me, and even blocked me on facebook.
What did I do?! Why the heck did she even match me then? Strange! Our IRL relationship is a very casual one. I wouldn't even call her a real friend, more like a casual acquaintance that I know through others.
Just curious what others would think. To me, it seems like very odd behavior.
