My wife is not 48 and I’m 49; we had an open marriage back in 2012; basically one night I had a few drinks and told her I wanted to see her with another man in bed. She said how would that work and I explained and we explored. Now let me preface we had two little ones but also I constantly adored and dated my wife before kids and when our marriage was open. During that time nd wife exercised and was confident in herself.
Fast forward 2020 rolls around she just stopped trying (now we have a home gym; not huge but enough where you can get in a good work out). During that time did “date nights” and nothing. After 2020; still tried everything where got to the point where now I told her it’s a need. Her response was I don’t have a desire or want it; but love you.
Fast forward to now; she’s finds and makes jokes with our friends “oh my husband and I rarely have sex, poor guy!”.
She’s given up trying. I’ve just given up on her as a sexual partner.
What’s my next decision?
