In my country, our education system heavily prioritizes rote learning. Many students who score above 95% often don't know what they are studying. This is a common issue here. Unfortunately, our education system focuses more on grades rather than the overall development of students, neglecting critical thinking and deep comprehension of concepts.

How does it work with online purchases (from outside USA) where TAX hasn’t been paid at the point of purchase? Do you get notified by customs and then have to pay the TAX to collect the item? Is this very inconvenient?
