Here in the States, hotels will provide three different sizes of linens. There is a small washcloth, a longer rectangular linen used for a hand towel after washing your hands, and then the full-sized bath towels.

I have stayed in multiple hotels in nine different European countries, and only my Dublin hotel provided the wash cloth. All of the other hotels I have stayed in only provided the hand towel and bath towel.

It was not that big of a deal when hotels included bars of soap, but now many hotels have pumps with body wash and no longer provide bars of soap. My question is: How are people supposed to wash themselves with body wash without a wash cloth? Are people expected to bring their own sponge/loofa? Is the hand towel supposed to be used in the shower? I legitimately don’t know.
