Me (M25) and my girlfriend (F23) have been together 3 years and our sex life has drastically decreased. My girlfriend is the one who has stopped the sex and won’t have sex or do anything. We moved in together over a year ago and have only recently started having this, what I would call, issue. I don’t earn a huge wage but do help around the house, I bring flowers home and buy her gifts.
My gf says I’m not romantic enough when initiating sex and that I am just too forward – initiating by touching and saying outright “should we do x”. How can I improve this? What things can I do/ say to fulfil this need?
This afternoon I said to her ‘maybe later we can do something’ and she agreed but then I said to her ‘let’s not do what always happens where it gets late and then we don’t do anything’ but that’s exactly what happened. She then claimed I didn’t initiate anything, when I very much tried to (again with touch) but here I am now typing this…
TL;DR: My gf won’t have sex with me because she says I am not romantic enough when initiating. How can I initiate and change her impression?
