Hello, I am not very eloquent when I'm describing my situation but I will try my best.

I've been seeing this guy for around 7 months now (we've been dating since the end of December) and we've been exclusive for around 6 months (we verbally established exclusivity in our relationship). I would say we get along extremely well, have many similar interests, text each other every day, and see each other at least once a week so its been pretty easy and fun to get to know each other in the beginning. Now that we are approaching 7 months into dating, I brought up the question of whether he wants to officially become bf/gf but said he does not think he is ready. 7 months to me is a pretty long time and I would have thought that he would have made some sort of decision of whether or not he wants to give me that girlfriend title. Am I being strung along or should I be more open to giving him more time to think about our relationship?

I understand that love has not time limit but I am having a hard time understanding where the relationship is going if it is taking him this long to really know what he wants. Should I give him more time or am I being a fool and getting led on?
