Feeling intimidated by girlfriends family

I (20m) always feel intimidated by my girlfriends family or any of my past gfs family’s I’ve always been intimidated especially by her parents and I don’t know why. I went out with a girl for a year and every time I had to drive to her house I got this overwhelming anxiety and when I went into her house I wasn’t myself and just being really quiet. This happened with another girl I was with and her family were really cheeky at first and I didn’t know how to handle it. And I fear this will happen every time when I’m with a girl and I have to go meet her family.
